Welcome back to part 4 of the SHVI set review. If you haven’t yet, you can look at parts 1, 2 and 3. Because I’m a day behind, the database has updated before I wrote part 4 or 5. I’m reviewing the last 20 cards within the core set. Then, part 5 will contain all of the imports and WP cards. If you haven’t yet, take a look at my rating scale for cards. Welcome back to the SHVI set review. Last time we followed up on the Blue-Eyes support, went over Amorphages, Digital Bugs and a few miscellaneous new cards. We’re finishing up the core set’s Effect Monsters and going over all of the Ritual, Fusion, Synchro and Xyz Monsters and starting the Spell Cards. Take a look at my rating scale if you haven’t yet. A 3.0 doesn’t mean it’s only meh. I’d give Ehther and Erebus a 3.0 and they’re the most important cards for Monarchs. So let’s get into the reviews. Shining Victories is
just around the corner and we’ve passed the Sneak Peek here. This is going to just be in five parts, and with 100 cards, that’s 20 cards per part. I could separate it a bunch of different ways, but the cards are all numbered, SHVI-En001 up to SHVI-EN099 plus 000. When the cards are in the database I’ll link them. Also, I’ll have pictures when we get good English scans. If you have the cards, you can scan them and send the files to me at BigEye@Number11.XYZ. Don’t forget to share your HQ scans with the wikia, because they’re good people even though they’re not official. Continue reading “Shining Victories set review Part 1 of 5”
Luster Pendulum and Master Pendulum are the LIGHT commanders of the FIRE, WIND and WATER armies of the Igknight, Majespecter and Dinomist. That’s four of the six attributes, where are the DARK and EARTH guys at? The Dracoverlords have DARK covered and our Draconnected EARTH attribute archetype in Shining Victories (SHVI) They’re about on equal power level as Dinomist and unfortunately probably won’t see competitive play. If you don’t know what they do yet, read on and I’ll explain them. Continue reading “Amorphage are cool. I hate that cool archetypes are bad.”
The Forbidden & Limited list effective April 1, 2016 in the OCG was announced in V-Jump or something. I don’t know any Japanese, but NeoArkadia does, or something. I’m just going to cover what I think these changes might mean for the TCG. I don’t play OCG and I’m sorry for not offering insightful insight to this list for OCG players. I simply don’t have the time and brainpower to talk about the OCG at this time.
