About the Man Behind the Big Eye

I’m Big Eye. Welcome to the about page. My real name is Timothy and this site is my small(ish) voice on the internet. Mostly I talk about Yugioh, but other things that interest me may pop up.

I’ve been casually playing Yugioh since 2006. I started playing competitively in 2011 with Gravekeeper’s. I became RC Level 1 certified in 2013 and have a significant amount of judging experience.

As far as playing the game is concerned, I was on the competitive circuit from 2011 to 2015 but haven’t had the opportunity to play competitively since moving across the pond. I, obviously, still keep up with the trends. My favorite deck would either be 4-axis Fire Fist or Dragon Rulers (with or without the babies.) My favorite Pokémon is Gengar. Excadrill is pretty rad, though.

My friend, Tom, has a youtube channel. He posts things there sometimes.

I’m an American expat currently living in Catalunya, a region in Northern Spain, with my wife and 2 and a 1/2-year-old daughter. The roads are small and European. The ‘country’ of Catalunya is beautiful and warm hot, but they take the hours of 1pm-5pm off, an incredible inconvenience when I realize I’m out of -ingredient- for lunch at 2pm, but good for napping.

I’m currently looking for sponsors that can help me keep this site and content going. If you have a like-minded business or project and would like to advertise on the Big Eye, head over to this page for full details.
